How to delete your AppMuse account and what data is removed.

How to request account deletion

AppMuse (operated by SaaS Factory Sweden AB) lets you delete your account and its associated data at any time, in two ways:

In the app (recommended)

  • Open AppMuse and sign in.
  • Go to Settings → Account.
  • Tap Delete account and confirm.

This is also available in the web app at appmuse.dev under Settings → Account. Your account and project data are removed when you confirm.

By email

If you can no longer access your account, email privacy@appmuse.dev from your registered email address and ask us to delete your account. We verify your identity and complete the request within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When you delete your AppMuse account, we permanently remove:

  • Your account information (email address, name, and password).
  • All of your projects — including their generated source code, databases, and running backend containers.
  • Your chat history and any images or files you uploaded.
  • Your credit balance and usage records.
  • Connected integration tokens (for example, your GitHub connection).

If you connected a GitHub repository, the repository on GitHub is not affected — it stays in your own GitHub account. We recommend exporting your code before deleting.

What data is retained

After deletion we keep only a limited set of data, and only where we are required to:

  • Billing and invoice records, kept for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law (for example, Swedish bookkeeping law).
  • Anonymized, aggregated data that can no longer identify you, used to keep the service secure and to improve it.
